NSW: Cannabis seized after police tipped off

SYDNEY, April 6 AAP - Sydney police have seized 142 cannabis plants worth $300,000
after officers were tipped off about a hydroponic cultivation operation.

A search of an unoccupied house in Lansdowne, in Sydney's west, revealed the plants
growing in three rooms in a hydroponic set up, police said.

A 43-year-old man was arrested at a house in nearby Fairfield West and later charged
with cultivating an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug.

He is due in Fairfield Local Court today.
