Fed: Kylie pitches in for Planet Ark's Xmas card recycling

Pop diva KYLIE MINOGUE has this year swung her support behind Planet Ark's annual effort
to recycle millions of Christmas cards.

Along with Plant Ark founders PAT CASH and JON DEE, MINOGUE is urging Australians to
recycle at least 50 million cards at more than 1,000 retail outlets across the country.

Former Wimbledon tennis champion CASH says MINOGUE has donated her time to present
the radio and TV ads for the campaign.

She stepped in to replace model ELLE MCPHERSON who was too ill with pneumonia to present the ads.

CASH says recycling unwanted cards and envelopes can be as simple as dropping them into
a Planet Ark recycling bin at your local Coles, Video Ezy or Officeworks store anytime
between Boxing Day and the end of February.

He says they're then pulped and turned into SAFE toilet tissue or recycled cardboard packaging.
